Coupons and member rates, applied when the delivery request goes in
Two things can shrink Tigbuy’s service charge: a member level with a lower rate, and a coupon set against the charge. Both are applied at the delivery request, and both come with rules that are easy to miss.
Gold, Platinum and Diamond rates
help 58 gives four rates: ten percent for everyone, then eight percent for Gold, seven for Platinum and six for Diamond. Every language copy we read on 17 October 2026 carries the same figures.
Because the charge is worked out when you submit a delivery request (help 5), the level that counts is the one on your account at that moment. Tigbuy does not state this in a sentence of its own; it follows from where the charge is calculated. If you are close to a new level, a request submitted after the upgrade is charged at the new rate, and items still on the shelf have not been charged at the old one.
The rates apply to the same base whatever the level: item price plus China freight. A Diamond member with a ¥500 base pays ¥30, a standard member ¥50.

Where the help pages disagree about reaching a level
How you reach Gold, Platinum or Diamond is less clear than what each level pays. help 47 describes a six-level ladder based on the total value of goods bought, with shipping discounts attached to each level. help 87 describes three VIP types reached by a number of bills and a purchase total inside ninety days. The two pages do not use the same figures, and neither mentions the service charge rates from help 58.
We do not reproduce either set of thresholds, because we cannot tell which one Tigbuy applies today. What is consistent across every page is the rate attached to the three named levels. If a level matters to your plans, ask support which rule decides it for your account, and check the level shown in your member centre before you submit a big request.
Help 47 also ties its levels to discounts on international shipping. That is a separate benefit from the service charge rate, and this site leaves it alone, because freight sits outside the base.

One coupon for each delivery request
Tigbuy’s coupons are set against the service fee, and the limit is per parcel. help 85 says one delivery request can use one coupon; help 48 repeats it as “used once for one delivery order”. Holding three coupons does not let you stack them on one request.
The coupon meets the charge at the same step as the rate. That means the order of events is: Tigbuy works out the service charge on the ticked items at your level, and then one coupon is applied against that charge.
Coupons are not part of the base. They do not reduce the item price or the China freight, and the help pages do not describe them as covering international freight. This site does not try to put a yuan value on a coupon; it only shows which charge the coupon would be set against.

A coupon larger than the charge loses the difference
The same article adds the rule that most affects small parcels: if the service fee is less than the coupon value, the remaining coupon value cannot be refunded. The unused part does not carry over to the next request.
Put simply, a coupon is worth at most the service charge on the request it is used on. A request holding one cheap tee carries a small charge, and a large coupon spent on it gives up most of its face value. The same coupon on a request with several items is set against a larger charge.
The fee board shows the service charge of the request you are building and states this rule beside it. It does not convert coupons into yuan, because coupon values are written in dollars and the conversion Tigbuy applies at that step is not published.

Which coupon values each member level can redeem
Coupons come in four face values, $5, $10, $20 and $50, and a level decides which you can redeem. help 49 sets the ladder: ordinary members can redeem $5 coupons, Gold members $5 or $10, Platinum members $5, $10 or $20, and Diamond members any value.
| Level | Coupon values it can redeem | Service charge rate |
|---|---|---|
| Member | $5 | 10% |
| Gold | $5 or $10 | 8% |
| Platinum | $5, $10 or $20 | 7% |
| Diamond | Any of the four | 6% |
Coupons are valid for thirty days from when you obtain them (help 85). A coupon picked up today and not used on a request within that window is gone, which is the main reason to know when your next parcel is likely to be ready.

Points arrive after receipt, coupons expire after thirty days
Points are how most buyers get coupons. Tigbuy gives 200 on sign-up, one point per dollar spent once you confirm receipt, and fifty for each new user you invite; a hundred points become a $1 coupon (help 48 and help 53). Points cannot be cashed out or transferred.
The timing matters more than the totals. Points from one haul land only after you confirm that the parcel arrived, weeks after the request that shipped it. A coupon redeemed from them then starts its own thirty-day clock. If your next request is likely to be months away, redeem when the parcel is close to ready rather than the day the points appear.
Help 48 also says only the commodity price counts towards points, so freight and the service charge earn nothing. A request with a large charge brings no more points than the items inside it already did.

Planning a request around a rate and a coupon
Three habits follow from the rules above.
- Check your level before a big request. The rate is read when you submit, so a level change between two requests changes what the second one costs.
- Match the coupon to the charge. One coupon per request and no refund of the remainder means a large coupon belongs on a request with a charge at least as large.
- Splitting is a freight question. Two requests can carry two coupons, but each is its own parcel with its own freight. Whether that trade pays depends on the freight, which this site leaves to Tigbuy’s order page.
None of this needs arithmetic beyond the help 58 formula, and the fee board does that part for you.
